Cablewireless Laboratory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cablewireless") was established in 2019. It is an innovative company focusing on the deep coverage of wireless signals within non-wide-area networks (indoors and smaller open spaces). The company owns three key invention patents, along with dozens of utility model and software copyright patents. It employs nearly 30 staff members, over 85% of whom are engaged in research and development, with more than 90% holding bachelor's degrees or higher.

Cablewireless' headquarter is located in Beijing, and established a R&D center in the Chengdu High-Tech Zone in May 2020, which includes departments such as Software, Hardware, Network Management Development, Testing, and Technical Services. Leveraging the excellent industrial environment of the High-Tech Zone and the exceptional resources of top university, the R&D center has grown from its initial stages to nearly 30 employees, laying a solid foundation for independent research and mastery of core technologies.

Following the technological roadmap set by the company, Cablewireless has engaged in research, development, and production in it’s technical directions within the last five years.

The Cable-5G solution leverages the extensive existing cable TV network to achieve high-quality, uniform, and deep indoor coverage of 5G signals at multiple frequency bands such as 3.3~3.6GHz and 4.8~4.96GHz in communities and homes. The architecture of Cable-5G is fully consistent with 3GPP, supporting MIMO multi-channel transmission. It requires only a minor modification for the signal combination /overlay without any impact to the existing cable TV signals and fixed broadband signal transmission, resulted its deployment could be very rapidly with low-cost. It is an innovative solution that effectively activates the submerged value of coaxial cables, transforming them from traditional cable TV and data transmission networks into 5G communication infrastructure.

Cable-5G has completed three product iterations. In 2021, it integrated with the carrier-grade 5G core network and BBU systems provided by CICT, achieving seamless compatibility with the operators' 5G architecture. By the end of 2021, deployment and real testing in one Chinese provincial MSO’s existing broadcasting network demonstrated that the Cable-5G system achieved an upstream peak speed of 115Mbps and a downstream peak speed of 750Mbps at the UE terminal.

Cablewireless provides comprehensive technical support and services to its partners, with a dedicated technical support department staffed by employees who are very knowledgeable about the products. This ensures a 7×24 hour feedback mechanism. By analyzing the performance of products in actual use and improvement suggestions proposed by customers, the company improves its products, creating a closed-loop service model.
